Ouruhia School Disco
On Friday there was a disco at Ouruhia School in Room 2. Room 3, 2, and 1 were there. You got a goody bag when we arrived. It had chips, lollies, a drink and glow sticks. You could eat them in Room 1.
There was lots of music and we got to play some games like spin the bottle, musical statues, and the limbo. It was really awesome and everyone had a great time.

The Christmas Dance Group
Some girls from Room 1 and 2 have been in a dance group with Jamie and Maddison. We practiced two lunch times a week. Last Friday in assembly we did our dance to Rocking around the christmas tree.

Pet Day, by Luke M and Miss McBride
Last Thursday it was Pet day at Ouruhia School. I brought my dog in. His name is koda, Charlotte was sitting next to me and her dogs name is cover.
First we got to go and see Sally's horse. We learnt where to pat the horse and what you need to wear when you ride them. Big boots, a vest and a helmet.
We had three guest speakers. The first lady taught us about dogs. We learnt how to pick up dog poo correctly and she taught us what to do when we see a angry dog. We need to use out bags and say "GO HOME"
We also learnt that if a dogs alone...... LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!
The second guest speaker talked to us about young dogs and cats. She brought along a cute little dog and a white cat.
Todd's dad brought along his pigeons and told us about them. Then he set them off to fly home.
In the afternoon everyones pets came and we got judged and had a parade with them! Luke H and Dylan helped me walk my dog and we had turns holding it around the parade.

CAR BOOT SALE!!
On Saturday the 5th of November it was Ouruhia School's Car Boot Sale. We sold guess the jelly beans in the jar, we sold calanders, and we sold card. We made the cards and calendars at school and they looked really good!
Ethan was Miss McBrides star helper at the Room Two stall. He had to work hard to sell all our goodies and make lots of money.
Out of all the classes Room Two made the most $$.
Athletics Day
On Monday it was athletics day. It was a really hot day and we needed our hats and lots of sunblock. We started with Long distance. It was really hard, but we all tried our bests!
Then we did events like shot put, sprints, high jump, long jump, discus and agility. They were really fun!
To end the day we did relays as a class, Room Two did really well!!
Todd's favourite one was sprints. Miss McBride (the best teacher) was doing sprints!
